Sunday, December 21 at 3:00 PM, we will have the Rutland County Advent Penance Service at Christ the King. All of the priests of our area will be available for confessions. Please take advantage of this opportunity to prepare yourself for Christmas.

Spark Your Winter Blues Dance and Silent Auction

Come and enjoy an evening of dancing and fun with friends old and new. Rutland Catholic Schools (RCS) is hosting a Dance/Silent Auction on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Rutland at 7:00 PM. There will be live entertainment with members of the band Satin & Steele at 8:00 PM. For tickets or to donate an auction item, please contact Terrie Churchill at MSJ 775-0151, Paula Bizon 558-7097, or Linda Bove 558-8884. Tickets are $10 per person. This fundraiser will be one of Rutland Catholic Schools major annual events!

 

 

BOOK CLUB FOR WOMEN – New Catholic Book Club for women has just formed. Our first book is “The Shattered Lantern” by Fr. Ronald Rolheiser. We each get our own copy of the book and will read the book before meeting again on January 13, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the conference room downstairs at Christ the King Church. Please join us for a lively discussion whether or not you have read the book. Light refreshments will be served.
