NEED TO GET RID OF YOUR

CHRISTMAS TREE?

Call Boy Scout Troop 120, Christ the King Parish, and we will come to your house and pick up the undecorated tree for a donation of $5.00. We will be doing this on December 31, 2011 and January 7, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM each day. FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION

St. Alphonsus Church will have Adoration on the first Friday of every month. Mass will be at 7:00 PM – adoration until 12:00 midnight.

 

FR. BRIAN O'DONNELL, Administrator of St. Mary’s Parish in St. Albans, VT has begun to celebrate a Latin Mass at St. Mary’s on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM and on the Third Sunday of the month at 10:30 AM.

 

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AT

CHRIST THE KING CHURCH

Come visit with Jesus. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is now available each Friday, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM, at Christ the King Church, 66 South Main St., Rutland. All are welcome. Come spend 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour. Come pray, sit, reflect and listen to Our Lord. You will not be sorry. The dates for January are:  January 6, 13, 20 & 27.

Heavenly Father,

in this time of new beginnings,

we recall how the heavens celebrated the birth of Christ.

We think back to the new kingdom he proclaimed,

and remember the new life we gained in our baptism.

In this time of new beginnings,

and at the beginning of this New Year,

may we always act as good examples

of the new life in you that all Christians have

and be the same for others.

Give us the joy that is ours

as adopted members of God’s family.
