Did You Know?
God’s Call for Love and Respect
Others
To know that we are children
of God is to live in complete love with deep abiding security and the ability
to dream, to sing, to create, to laugh, and to play without worry. It is a
freedom to love—the creatures whom God has sent to us in our world. As we grow
older, we face a new reality. We cannot approach all God’s creation with the
same trust and confidence. We learn, through sometimes hurtful and damaging
experiences, that some people reject the ability that God gave them to love and
respect others—they ignore God’s call to love and respect others.
For particular help you may
call, Kevin Scully or Jeanne Bruno at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington
at 1-802-658-6110.
CHRIST THE KING RAFFLE will be held on Friday, June 18 at the

BISHOP’S
FUND
Please prayerfully consider a
sacrificial pledge to this year’s Bishop’s Fund by being as generous as your
means will allow. Last year donors generously gave an average gift of nearly
$210. As always, every dollar donated to the Bishop’s Fund, is used solely for
the programs and ministries supported by the Bishop’s Fund.

Bishop during the week. Please respond to his letter as quickly as possible. If
you have not yet made a gift, or did not receive the letter yet, please pick up
a pledge envelope and send it in this week to offer your support.
Our goal for this year is
$38,690 for St. Peter and $10,295 for St. Dominic.
BABY
BOOTIES FOR LIFE
Don’t forget to bring your baby booties to Mass next weekend full of
change, a check, or cash to support the work of the Vermont Right to Life
Committee. Checks payable to Vermont Right to Life Educational Trust Fund are
tax deductible. (They can’t afford lost booties, so please don’t forget to
bring them back!) For more information, contact the Rectory Office at 775-1994.
