St. Peter and St. Dominic are
grateful for all those who helped to make Fr. Sam’s celebrations last weekend
very special. I especially want to thank John Riddle, our organist at St.
Peter, and our choir for providing beautiful music and singing. St. Dominic is
very grateful to Margaret Curtis and her choir for its beautiful music and
singing.
The reception at the
St. Dominic would like to
thank our Bishop, Salvatore Matano, for participating in Fr. Sam’s celebration.

Letter from Maryknoll:
Dear Father Corley,
Warm greetings of peace to
you from Maryknoll.
I want to take this
opportunity to thank you and all your parishioners very much for the proceeds
of $766.00 from our June 7 & 8, 2008 Appeal at St. Peter & St. Dominic
Parishes. We are especially grateful for your warm welcome and enjoyable
hospitality; and we can further assure you that your support will be greatly
appreciated also by those who will receive it in our overseas missions.
May God continue to bless you
all abundantly in your daily lives.
Gratefully yours,

Dear God,
As we celebrate Independence Day with fireworks and festivals, help us never to forget the reason
for our joy.
Help us remember that our rights to life, liberty and
the pursuit of happiness were signed
into our heritage with the willing blood
of American patriots.
Most of all, help us remember that the rights of all people are more than words on a document, and
that all people have rights because
you have given us the dignity of human
life.
Grant freedom to all, and give us the strength to
protect the rights of others.
Amen.
