MSJ INDOOR CRAFT AND FLEA MARKET will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the MSJ Gym. To reserve a space, please call Chris at 773-9054.

St. Dominic needs a new person to take care of sacristy/mass preparation.

On April 27, 2008, Jan Horner will no longer be available to take care of the sacristy preparation of St. Dominic’s Church. As you know, this entails weekly + preparation for Mass involving altar linens, holy water, light cleaning, decorating, maintaining, and removing holyday decorations and flowers, as well as special set ups in conjunction with catechism, and many other details not mentioned. Jan would be glad to show the new person how to set up, iron linens, etc. up until April 27th as she will be away from St. Dominic’s intermittently after that. Please contact Fr. Ted as soon as possible if you can help St. Dominic in this important ministry.

MERCY SUNDAY, March 30, Our Lady of Ephesus House of Prayer, 35 Fawn Ledge Lane, Jamaica, VT will host a day dedicated to the Feast of Divine Mercy from 1:30 – 5:30 PM. Confession, Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Pot luck supper following the 4:30 PM Mass. Guest speaker will be Fr. Angelo Geiger.

DANCE AND SILENT AUCTION will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 21 Merchants Row, Rutland. Music with “On the Rocks” and “Satin and Steel” from 8:00 – 11:30 PM. Cost is $15.00 per person. To purchase your tickets, please contact Kathy Bove or Terrie Churchill at MSJ – 775-0151 or contact Laurie Gawet for the MSJ Parents & Friends Club at 773-8868.

POST ABORTION RETREAT – We ask for your continued prayer and support in reaching out to women who would benefit from our post abortion ministry, the “Entering Canaan Day of Prayer and Healing” for women who are suffering as a result of losing a child to abortion. The retreat will be held on Saturday, April 19. Our sponsor is Vermont Catholic Charities. For further information and confidential reservations, please call Judy Kanya at Vermont Catholic Charities, 802-658-6111, or toll free, 1-877-250-4099.
