TO ALL PARENTS of a child that hasn’t yet received 1st Communion:  there has been a change in guidelines. The Diocese requires that this sacrament be a two year preparation class. This means that children will receive the sacrament of reconciliation at the end of Grade 2 and 1st Communion will be celebrated at the end of Grade 3. All children who have not received these sacraments must complete both years.
