ST. ANTHONY’S GUILD is the St. Peter Parish ministry to the needy of the greater Rutland community. This ministry is carried on through the generosity of parishioners as well as bequests. Since January 2008, the Guild has made 51 distributions for a total of $4,313.00. In the month of August, we made 5 distributions for a total of $225.00. Several parishioners make weekly and monthly contributions to the Guild. Two special projects also contribute to the Guild. Helen Shappy heads up a cookie sale at the parish picnic and Lena Tedesco and Nancy Benincasa donate money left over from flower contributions for the Feast of the Assumption. St. Peter’s Parish Council would like to thank everyone who contributes to St. Anthony’s Guild. If you would like to join St. Anthony’s Guild, please call St. Peter Rectory at 775-1994.
