BAGS
The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts a cold, snowy winter. Please help the
Council on Aging to provide bundles of shelf stable foods to 800 homebound or
isolated seniors, for “emergency stash” on a day we can’t deliver Meals on
Wheels. We are asking for your help with donations of some specific items:

ounce fruit juice (100% juice) – juice boxes
4 ounce
peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, pineapple or fruit cocktail – snack packs
4 ounce
apple sauce – snack packs
4 ounce
pudding – snack packs
The collection will take place from now until Sunday, November 1. There
are Blizzard Bag boxes at the entrances of St. Peter’s and St. Dominic’s.
THANKSGIVING BASKETS
Again this year, St. Peter’s
will be putting together Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families. There are
slips of paper at the entrances of the Church with names of food items that are
needed. Please take a slip or slips and bring that food item to Church on or before Sunday, November 22.
